No let up for the singer

Ellie Goulding has been one of the talked about and written about artists of the year and there doesn’t appear to be any let up in the action for the singer.

You may have seen the singer supporting Little Boots last year around the UK and if you have tickets for the forthcoming John Mayer tour, you are likely to make acquaintances with the singer again. She has been lined up as the support act for the forthcoming tour from the Grammy Award winner, putting Goulding in front of another big audience.

With a number one album and a top four single under her belt, you could say that Goulding has a fan base of her own but it definitely makes sense for the artist to continually build awareness of her.

This is exactly what Goulding will look to do at T in the Park this year when she plays in the King Tuts Wah Wah Hut Tent. Sunday also sees John Mayer playing so the singer may well hook up again with her touring buddy.

Before all that, there is another single to come from Lights with ‘Guns and Horses’ being the song that will become Goulding’s third single. With the album now out, it may be difficult for the single to replicate the success of ‘Starry Eyed’ but you never know.

Goulding is one of the current wave of artists who straddle the line of pop and what is deemed to be more “genuine” music so it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the girl.
