Woop-de-woop-wopp

Take That eh?

Back in the day they were a group for daft wee lassies and nowadays they are a group for drunk middle-aged women. It’s hardly living the pop dream but well, so many of you just love them, don’t you?
How many tears were shed when Robbie Williams decided he wanted to go smoke with the naughty boys at the back of the bike sheds and leave the rest of his pals behind. Poor Gary Barlow was on pills for his nerves because of the break-up but that’s all changed of late.

Take That split…did nothing and then reformed and suddenly became the biggest pop act in the country again. Selling stadiums all over Britain sparked a huge influx of money for the boys in the band, the record labels and the makers of Lambrini. Robbie felt left out and now looks to be crawling back to the lads with his tail between his legs.

A lot of people herald the band as genius songwriters but when you consider that Barry Manilow wrote one of their best songs, you realise that they aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
Still, the full-on reunion looks to be getting closer as Robbie and Gary reunite on a track, which hilariously enough, is entitled ‘Shame’. The single, which features song-writing credits for both artists, will be released as a single on 4th October.

‘Shame’ will be part of Robbie William’s greatest hits album but sadly, it will not be the title track with Robbie deciding that ‘In and Out of Consciousness’ was a better selection. In and out of popularity would be a lot more truthful but not one that the humourless yet ego-filled little man would approve of.
Do you want them back for good?
