Sometimes you get pop stars handed to you on a plate with every inch of the media throwing their name in the face. That is not always the case though and sometimes you have to do a bit of digging. And of course, there is always luck and good fortune.

Where would we be without good fortune?

Yes, we occasionally stumble across artists that have seemingly gone under the radar elsewhere, but hopefully that just means we have gotten in there early doors.

One such artist we like is Odette Albani…and if we’re honest, we weren’t completely taken with her on first listen. With so many female artists competing for our love and affection, it can be hard for any of them to stand out and it took a while for Odette to worm her way into our ears and minds.

One song that eventually got us around to her way of thinking was ‘Weaker Side of Me’ and we’re delighted that a live showing of it has turned up on Youtube. As always, we’ll stick it up here for you to check out.
